BIO
For the last decade, Jack Primavera has been one of NBCUniversal's go-to producers and has created a variety content for hit NBC shows, such as The Voice, American Song Contest, The Titan Games, Songland, and American Ninja Warrior.
Always an avid music-lover, Jack got his start working for a local radio station in his Indiana college town. During this time, he also interned for Live Nation, which gave him the opportunity to work at the very same concert venues where he grew up going to concerts (lots of shows!).
Jack began his career in Los Angeles at A. Smith & Co. Productions, the unscripted production company behind hits such as Hell's Kitchen and American Ninja Warrior. After several years working in development, Jack helped build and launch A. Smith & Co.’s Digital Department in order to bring A. Smith & Co.'s reputation for world-class storytelling and high-quality production to the digital and branded entertainment space. While at A. Smith, Jack helped create and produce hit digital series "Recipes From Hell's Kitchen" and American Ninja Warrior's "Crashing The Course", the latter winning a Reality Wanted Award for Best Digital Series in 2017.
His next venture was at Group Nine Media where he hired and managed two production teams created to produce short to mid-form content for Discovery Communications (Discovery Channel, TLC, Investigation Discovery, Animal Planet, Science Channel). While at Group Nine, Jack helped develop and produce the Cash Cab companion series, “Cash Lift” for Discovery GO and Facebook.
Jack returned to the course to showrun “Ninja Warrior Weekly”, featuring Olympic superstar, Allyson Felix, that highlighted some of the biggest moments each week on Season 10 of American Ninja Warrior. Jack continued on with NBC to produce digital and social content for the Dwayne Johnson’s, The Titan Games, as well as hit music series, Songland.
Since 2019 (Seasons 16-27), Jack has worked as The Voice’s Digital & Social Supervising Producer, where he leads a small team that produces and delivers the program's digital/social slate of promotional and editorial content across Streaming, Social, NBC & Voice apps, VOD platforms and various NBC affiliates, as well as in-show packages for the linear program. The content that Jack and his team makes is also shared by the show’s Coaches across their personal social handles.
